Virtual Deal Simulator™

Our Virtual Deal Simulator™ service is designed for those who have already conducted significant commercialization market research. In this service we help you identify a specific potential Phase III partner interested in preliminary discussions leading to negotiations. We also provide advice on what kind of terms would represent a fair deal. The deal can be for equity, licensing, sales, alliances, etc.

First, we conduct brief market research to confirm your understanding of the market dynamics, end-user needs, and competition. Next, we determine what is likely to be seen as “industry standard” terms based on reviews of relevant deals in the literature (usually found on fee for service databases to which we subscribe). This industry analysis provides a basis for interviews with experts about what they see as fair for a deal like yours. (As always, we only release non-proprietary information that you provide us to people with whom you are comfortable making such a disclosure.) Along the way, we identify potential risk factors which hinder your negotiation strength and suggest ways to mitigate these risks.

This information is used to develop the term sheet. As with all our services, there is a debrief/follow-on actions discussion with the analyst and a senior consultant. If you are new to negotiations and deal-making, we provide advice as to next steps and things to think about when planning and conducting negotiations.

Manufacturing/Engineering/Design
